Live the Season

It's Christmas season and as we all know and would say, ''a season to GIVE! SHARE! LOVE!'' Therefore, we all go the extra mile to ensure we conform. Malls and markets are congested with everyone trying to purchase one thing or the other to give out and celebrate the season.
Sometimes, we look around and ask ourselves, ''what do we have to give?'' Just know that act of giving is not just streamlined to material things but something that stirs up from the heart. You definitely can't give what you do not already possess. It may be just a little of your time; it may be lending a listening ear; a small gesture; or a large one. Whatever it is that stems from the heart will suffice. You may give out enormous and expensive gifts but your reason behind such act is what matters. A lot of time, we place so much value on the gift than the act itself but the latter is what makes it worthwhile. Although a gift is seen as something given without the expectation of receiving something in return but  a giver would always receive because as you give, you sow a seed and shall therefore reap.

Lets live the season and enjoy it to the fullest. There's always something to be thankful for; even if just for the gift of life! I remain forever grateful

Have a beautiful holiday y'all and keep putting smiles on people's faces.

cheers

The Resolution Bug

Time keeps moving so fast and like an electric train it speeds off with no stops or warning other than the clocks and calendars that enable us keep track. January 1st 2011 still remains so fresh in my head and what?! It’s December already!!! A new month starts and just before you get comfortable in it, its happy new month again. The year started with us making various resolutions and setting goals hoped to be achieved during the course of the season. For some, it was to shed off those extra pounds, others it was to manage their finances and begin that investment plan they have been stalling on; make a bold step of taking that relationship to the next level,; travel and see other parts of the world; drop off some not so cool habits e.t.c. We all know what we reflected on and decided upon but the question is, “How many of those resolutions were kept?” Could it be the euphoria of the unveiling of a New Year or are we being sincere to ourselves? If you're like most people, you probably experienced the sudden splash of motivation and energy that comes in early January.
